SECOND NORTH CHICO VILLAGE SPECIFIC PLAN VIRTUAL WORKSHOP TO BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 18
Chico, Ca— Butte County is currently revising the North Chico Specific Plan (NCSP) with a focus on re-visioning the
North Chico Village area. This process will explore conceptual land use options that are formed by community and
stakeholder collaboration and input. The revised NCSP will be used to guide the preparation of development plans for
the North Chico Village. The workshops offer an exciting opportunity for the public to assist in the vision and design of
the area.
"The only way your voice is heard in government is to engage with the process. The North Chico Specific Plan has
existed since 1995 and currently includes the Village Core, which features commercial, multi-family units and one-
acre residential,” said Debra Lucero, Butte County District 2 Supervisor. “Now is your opportunity to speak into a
possible redesign of that Village Core. To me, this is the exciting part of the public process - to help shape the future
of Chico and our County."
The second NCSP virtual workshop will be held on November 18, 2020 from 6-8pm. Butte County residents and
stakeholders will have a chance to provide valuable input into the visualization and planning of the North Chico
