Little Grass Valley Dam Phase 3 Spillway Inspection Report
Dear Mr. Blackett,
While preparing a response to your letter dated October 1, 2020 requesting a status update on the independent
consultant’s recommendation to the STID and DSSMP at Sly Creek Dam, it was noted that this Agency has not
received follow-up correspondence or acceptance of the June 2019 Phase 3 Spillway Assessment for Sly Creek
Dam or Little Grass Valley Dam, compiled by McMillen Jacobs and Associates. Due to staff turnover, it is possible
that the reports were not properly submitted to you, therefore, the Sly Creek Dam report was submitted on
November 13, and this transmittal accompanies the submission of the Little Grass Valley Dam spillway
assessment for your review.
