BCPH supports the right to protest peacefully and recommend that all who attend wear a mask, keep their distance from each other and do not come if they are ill or have symptoms of COVID-19. The frustration and fatigue that our community is feeling after nearly a year of COVID restrictions is understandable – these are very challenging times and BCPH feels these impacts too. However, COVID fatigue does not mean that we can let our guard down - BCPH will continue to be led by science and data as they work to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in Butte County. As cases continue to increase and our hospitals become more impacted by COVID, the entire community needs to work together to bring down our case rate and level the curve so we can move back to a less restrictive tier. This means following all state orders and taking individual action to prevent COVID. BCPH will continue to follow all state issued mandates, orders and guidance to protect the public’s health, our healthcare system, our workforce and to save lives. ### Lisa Almaguer Communications Manager / PIO BUTTE COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH 202 Mira Loma Drive | Oroville, CA 95965 T: COVID-19 Call Center: 530.552.3050 Open 8 am-5 pm, M-F “Nationally Accredited, 09/13/17” | TWITTER FACEBOOK COUNTY OF BUTTE E-MAIL DISCLAIMER: This e-mail and any attachment thereto may contain private, confidential, and privileged material for the sole use of the intended recipient.
