During a site visit on October 31, 2001, it was noted that a garage structure, near the east property line, has plumbing to a septic system in the area southwest of the structure. No permit has been issued for this system. Butte County Code, Chapter 19, Section 19-11— Location of Systems a. Minimum separation distance from a leach field and individual well is 100 feet. It was noted that the unpermitted leach area mentioned above is approximately 65 feet from the well on the adjacent parcel to the east. In view of the above items, you must obtain a permit to relocate the existing leach line (fee $930.00, which is double the normal septic system permit fee, as a penalty for not. having obtained a permit prior to installation) to a minimum of 100 feet from any well. No person shall begin or cause to have begun construction of any building or any sewage disposal system without first submitting plans of the means of sewage disposal to the Health Officer and obtaining a permit therefore from the Health Officer. During a site visit on October 31, 2001, it was noted that a garage structure, near the east property line, has plumbing to a septic system in the area southwest of the structure. No permit has been issued for this system. Butte County Code, Chapter 19, Section 19-11— Location of Systems a. Minimum separation distance from a leach field and individual well is 100 feet. It was noted that the unpermitted leach area mentioned above is approximately 65 feet from the well on the adjacent parcel to the east. In view of the above items, you must obtain a permit to relocate the existing leach line (fee $930.00, which is double the normal septic system permit fee, as a penalty for not having obtained a permit prior to installation) to a minimum of 100 feet from any well.
