HomeMy WebLinkAbout20-1581 : I WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte had determined that for the efficient operation of the Child Support Services' office, the Revolving Fund was necessary; and WHEREAS, California Government Code Section 29320 et seq. provides for the establishment of such revolving funds in amounts to be determined by the Board of Supervisors; and WHEREAS, the Boardl of Supervisors of the County of Butte has previously established by Resolution No. 76-31 the Child Support Services' Revolving Fund in the total amount of $1000.00; and WHEREAS, an analysis of the Revolving Fund by the Butte County Auditor's Office has determined that improved efficiencies in transacting expenses have eliminated the need for Child Support Services' Revolving Fund; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the, Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, as follows: 1. That there is determined to be a necessity for the termination of the Child Support Services Revolving Fund. 2. That this Fund is established and discontinued in accordance with Section 29320 et seq. of the Government Code of the State of California, and that certified copies of this Resolution shall be transmitted to the County Auditor -Controller and County Child Support Services Director. 3. That the Child Support Services Director of the County of Butte is hereby directed to close Child Support Services' Revolving Fund and will deposit the balance from Bank of the West in favor of the Butte County Child Support Services Fund for the purpose of terminating the Child Support Services' Revolving Fund.
