THE DEPARTMENT OF EMPLOYMENT AND SOCIAL SERVICES
WHEREAS, Jill Anchordoguy, Social Worker Supervisor of the Department of Employment and Social Services
(DESS), has announced her retirement effective December 30, 2020; and
WHEREAS, Jill began her career with the County of Butte on December 27, 1991 as an Eligibility Worker, later
promoting to Social Worker I in the CalWORKs program in 1995 and successfully moved up the career ladder to
Employment Case Manager III before promoting to Social Worker in the Adult Services Program in 2002. On June 21,
2014, Jill promoted to Social Worker, Senior in Children's Services, returning to the, Adult Services Program on October 11,
2014. Jill promoted to her current responsible position as a Social Worker Supervisor on February 23, 2019,
WHEREAS, Jill has devoted her career to assuring that elders, disabled adults and families in, our community were
served in a caring and professional manner, conducting herself with the highest level of integrity and responsibility; and
WHEREAS, as a Social Worker and Supervisor, Jill dedicated herself to providing excellent customer service to staff
and the families served, and valued the role of educating and empowering staff to provide the highest quality of work;
and
WHEREAS, Jill has worked diligently for the past 29 years in the best interest of Butte County and its citizens,
earning the respect of her DESS colleagues, employees, and the many families she served over the, years; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby extends its appreciation
for your many years of dedicated service.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors on the 8t' day of December 2020, by the
following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Lucero, Teeter, and Chair Lambert
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor Ritter
ABSTAIN: None
