WHEREAS, Angela Robertson, Employment and Eligibility Supervisor with the Department of Employment and
Social Services (DESS), has announced her retirement effective De,cember4, 2020; and
WHEREAS, Angela began her career with the County of Butte on May 18, 1981 as a Typist Clerk in the District
Attorney Family Support Department, and promoted to Family Support Enforcement Officer in 1990. Angela transferred
to the Department of Employment and Social Services on February 4, 20016 as an Eligibility Worker. Thereafter she served
in various positions of increasing responsibility in the, Employment and Eligibility program, including her current
responsible position as an Employment and Eligibility Supervisor since March 17, 2012; and
WHEREAS, Angela has devoted her career to improving the lives of children, families and seniors and has taken
great pride in her job as a public servant conducting herself with the highest level of integrity and responsibility; and
WHEREAS, as an Employment and Elig,lbility Supervisor, Angela dedicated herself to providing excellent customer
service to staff and the families served, and valued the role of educating and empowering staff to provide the highest
quality of work; and
WHEREAS, Angela has worked diligently for the past 35 and a half years in the best interest of Butte County and
its residents, earning the respect of her DESS colleagues, employees, and the many families she served over the years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby extends its appreciation
for your many years of dedicated service.
