The region’s ICU capacity varies daily, but recently fell below 10%. Moving forward, the regions ICU capacity will be assessed on a weekly basis. The RSAHO will be lifted once the region’s projected ICU capacity meets or exceeds 15%. Butte County Public Health will keep the public informed about the RSAHO status and make residents aware when the order has been lifted. On December 3, 2020, the Greater Sacramento Region was placed under the RSAHO, which was directed to be in place for a minimum of 21 days. After the 21 day time period, the region’s four week ICU capacity will be projected on a weekly basis. The RSAHO prohibits private gatherings of any size, closes sector operations except for critical infrastructure and retail and requires 100% mask wearing (with certain exceptions as indicated in the guidance for use of face coverings) and physical distancing. Under the RSAHO order, restaurants are required to close all indoor and outdoor operations. Restaurants may continue to provide curbside pick-up and delivery.
