We have completed our review of the responses to comments and the revised reports and maps and having the following comment: It is our understanding that the submitted maps are still those being used in the Emergency Action Plan (EAP) for the project. The maps utilize old United States Geological Survey (USGS) base maps as an unhighlighted background layer for the only information on roadways and landmarks. Increased labelling of these features may be beneficial for the use of the maps by Emergency Management Agencies (EMAs) during an emergency. Based upon the new requirements of the State of California regarding inundation maps and our comment about the background layer, South Feather should solicit feedback from the EMAs regarding the map labelling at the next annual EAP seminar, and document that feedback in the next EAP Status Report or EAP Updates, and provide updated maps, if needed. 2 public safety program.
