I did not get a chance to send you all an update on the number of deaths being added to the
dashboard yesterday afternoon. I wanted to provide a bit of clarification:
A total of 7 deaths were added to the dashboard yesterday
Of those 7 – 2 were actually the ones I sent you information about on Monday (due to the
backlog they did not get added until yesterday)
Of the 5 remaining that were from yesterday:
o One was in the 55-64 yr age group
o One was in the 65-74 yr age group
o 3 were 75 and older age group
2 of the five were residents of the congregate living facility for which we were still
await seven death certificates (so we are still waiting for five more from that group)
We believe that all had underlying conditions but no longer have the capacity to carefully review
certificates to verify that.
