GoodeveningButteCountyBoardofSupervisorsandClerkoftheBoard,
As I have written before to you, the homeless situation is out of control in Chico. Our
community is being eroded one ton of trash and one tent at a time. Ifyouhaven’ttoured
the‘Devil’sTriangle,ComancheCreek,theentrancetoLowerBidwellPark,LindoChannel,

areas;especiallythosefirstthreespots.Ifyouneedaguide,Iamhappytostepupandassist

Please step up to the plate and provide short and long-term mental health and
detox/recovery residential facilities for our homeless and others in the community. Wearea

Our City Council should not have to expend city taxpayer funding for the situation. Their area
is enforcement of our ordinances and maintenance of our city infrastructure. It is the County
and the State who needs to attend to this critical homelessness, drugs and mental health
issues.

I truly hope this time you hear my plea for the county to begin addressing the homeless
