Subject: Reporting COVID deaths
As you all are aware, I had been trying to give you a heads up regarding the number of COVID deaths
we would be reporting as they occurred. Unfortunately, with this latest spike in cases, increased
hospitalizations and vaccine planning I have been unable to keep ahead of the team that updates the
dashboard.
I plan to stop trying to send an email prior to the dashboard being updated. However, I will send an
email if we have anything unusual occur such as major outbreaks, death in children or younger
adults with no underlying conditions, etc. Thank you for your understanding, keeping up these days
is extremely difficult.
Updates for today:
We are responding to another outbreak in the jail and some cases in juvenile as well
(although this is much smaller, for now at least).
Oroville Hospital did receive vaccine and have started administering
Enloe is still administering vaccines
Allocations of more vaccine coming to Hospitals in the next week
Supplemental Stay at Home Order released today, requires all counties in purple tier (even
those in Northern California region) to implement the stay at home order
