Dear Mr. Blackett:
Enclosed is the notarized certificate for the 2020 spillway gate operations for the
following dam:

The certificate is being submitted pursuant to Part 12, Subpart E, Section 12.44 (b) of
(Enclosure 1).
In accordance with Chapter 14, Appendix L of the guidelines, annual spillway gate
certificates should provide comment on apparent trends or unusual amperage
readings. Phase current and voltage plots for all five gates are included in Enclosure 2.
Amperage measurements for the radial bypass gate were below the motor amperage
rating of 5.9 amps and averaged 4.5 amps. Voltage variations varied by 1.3V and were
reasonably consistent with previous performance. Amperage measurements for
gates 1 through 4, motors 1 and 2 were all approximately 12 amps. Amperage rating
for these motors is 17.2 amps; therefore, there was no amperage exceedance for
these motors. Previous years testing indicates similar results. Voltage variations were
nominal during the 2020 gate testing. Variations in the results over the past five years
are likely due to variant operational consistencies.
