Subject: BCALUC Consistency Review (A20-0003) of a proposed project for 90-foot tall
communication facility on APN: 047-600-007 (4338 Shorthorn Court, Chico)
Dear Mr. Lewis:
The Butte County Airport Land Use Commission (BCALUC) held consistency height review hearings on
October 21 and November 4, 2020 for the proposed project, a 90-foot tall communication facility within the
Compatibility Zone C of the Chico Municipal Airport. The height review was required based on the tower
exceeding the 70-foot height limit within the Compatibility Zone C. Based on the information and findings
provided, the BCALUC found the referenced project to be consistent with the Butte County Airport Land
Use Compatibility Plan.
