AccordingtoCharlesWithuhn, ourhousingexpert, whoalsohasbeenbuildingtinyhousesin conjunctionwithCHAT,andnowbuildingConestoga"huts"ormicrohousing:"We have finished constructing the components of the first micro home in Butte County! We will celebrate by taking tomorrow off. I hope to get the material to start our second micro home tomorrow. If I am successful in that goal, we will start work on the second micro home Friday at 10 am. Call to confirm if you are coming in. Charles 530.518.1417" In addition to the Park N Ride, which already has water and electricity and is paved, this would be the fastest and most efficient way to safely get car sleepers out of neighborhoods. Also ready to go - with only a city/county fence request is the current lease-holderof the BMX track, who would be happy to let campers use the one acre or so end of the property which is not being used by the track. He only wants a fence for separation of operations. Charles also has several property owners who want to give/loan or rent their land for the use of camper tents and micro lockable Conestogas to tiny house villages. One has 2.5 acres and one is offering 43 acres. Therefore, I am joining the ranks of those who want our local governments to enable these projects to go forward without further delays. The only way out is to provide housing options and build as fast as we can.Thankyouforyourtimeandattentiontothis housingcrisis. -- InSolidarity, Mary Kay ~*~ <>
