Chair Connelly and members of the Board,
Please see the attached letter to Cal OES requesting an extension of the ROE deadline. This is our
second request.
Notable progress has been made over the past two weeks to finally reach those property owners
who had moved out of the area. Many of them have started to submit ROEs. We also have been able
to turn many incomplete ROEs to a “complete” status and submit them to Cal OES thanks to hard
work by staff. The extra time granted (we hope) through an extension will allow us to enroll as many
properties as possible and avoid the abatement process.
