Good morning –
Attached is a letter to CalOES requesting a six month extension for the direct housing program
provided by FEMA for the Camp Fire survivors. There are currently 186 families still living in MHUs or
TTs in two sites: Gridley and Chico. The currently period of assistance is set to expire in early May.
We will work with CalOES staff to support any data needs they have as they draft a request to FEMA.

Good morning Director Ghilarducci –
I hope this email finds you well. The attached letter is a request to extend direct housing six months
for survivors of the Camp Fire. We appreciate your consideration of the request and we are available
to work with your staff as needed to provide additional data and information to inform the State’s
request to FEMA.
Thank you for the ongoing support of our communities and the fire survivors still in need of safe,
stable housing.
