RE: South Feather Power Project (FERC No. 2088)
2020 STID submittal for Little Grass Valley Dam
Dear Mr. Blackett,
This submission serves as a response to your letter dated April 14, 2020, as well as historical letters dating back
to 2018, requesting further updates to the STID documents for Little Grass Valley Dam, Sly Creek Dam, Lost Creek
Dam and Miner’s Ranch Dam. The 2019 STID documents were originally prepared in March 2019, but it appears
that your office did not receive that version in its entirety, nor did it fully address previously requested updates.
After submission in January 2020, your office identified several updates that need to be incorporated.
This submission of the Little Grass Valley Dam address your outlined requests. With regard to the Lost Creek
STID, this Agency is still awaiting the final construction documents from AESOM, and the subsequent FERC
approval of the as-builts following the completion of the stability retrofit. As soon as we have received that
approval, the STID and the DSSMP will be updated to reflect all current as-builts and instrumentation. It is our
hope that this can be done prior to our March 31, 2021 deadline for submission of the 2020 STID documents.
We appreciate your continued patience and support during staff changes that have occurred within our Agency
over the past year and a half. If you have any questions related to this transmittal, please feel free to contact me
at (530) 534-1221 x 265, or via email at kmckillop@southfeather.com
.
Sincerely,
South Feather Water and Power Agency
