Housing Agency has provided one-time flexible grant funds toContinuum mfCares, large cities (population nf3OW,0W0+)
and counties asdefined lmthe November 13,2020HHAPRound 2Notice ofFunding; and
WHEREAS, Butte County (°Ammicant°)was awarded funds totaling $I,3I7,259.00,mfwhich $7O15/G55.08were
allocations redirected to Butte County from the Butte Countywide Continuum of Care, and
WHEREAS, The Applicant shall be subject to the terms aind conditions that are specified in the Homeless
Housing, Assistance and Prevention Standard Agreement, and that Applicant will use the Homeless Housing, Assistance
and Prevention funding to support regional coordination, and to expand or develop local capacity to address immediate
homelessness challenges.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE[TRESOLVED, that the Butte County Board ofSupervisors dmesherehvdetenmineand
declare as follows:
SECTION 1: That Applicant is hereby authorized and directed to accept the Homeless Housing, Assistance and
Prevention grant funding.
SECTION 2:That Shelby Boston, Director of Butte County Employment and Social Services, mrher designee, b
hereby authorized and directed toact ombehalf nf Butte County inconnection with the Homeless Housing, Assistance
and Prevention, grant funding, and toenter into, execute, and deliver any and all documents required mrdeemed
necessary.
