Hello fellow Board Members,
A few weeks back, Supervisor Kimmelshue called me to ask whether I would like to
be reappointed to the Fair Board.After careful consideration, I informed him that I
would not serve another term but would serve until he found a replacement. As some
of you are aware, I have a very sick mother back in PA and it is likely that I will have
to spend quite a bit of time back there helping my sister with health care in the
coming months.In addition, I have been doing quite a bit of work with the State
Department of Social Services, and hopefully will be enjoying retirement by traveling
again soon.For all these reasons, insuring that I have the time necessary to commit
to the Board will become increasingly problematic.
I am not sure how long it will take for Supervisor Kimmelshue to find a replacement
but I wanted you to hear about it from me first.
Thanks and I am sure we will talk before I leave the Board.
