To Whom it May Concern,
As you are likely aware, T‐Mobile and Sprint have recently merged. As a result of this merger, T‐Mobile is
currently upgrading Sprint sites with T‐Mobile equipment. The purpose of this letter is to request the Butte
County Planning Department to review and approve Substantial Compliance for the proposed T‐Mobile
modifications to the above‐captioned telecommunications site.
In sum, T‐Mobile will be removing nearly all of the Sprint equipment and replacing it with like equipment, but
using equipment compatible with T‐Mobile’s network.
T‐Mobile will comply with any existing conditions of approval for the facility. It is my understanding that this
installation falls within the scope of the original zoning approval and that this site will not require additional
processing by the planning department. However, T‐Mobile will submit for and obtain a building permit through
the County of Butte. If this understanding is correct, please acknowledge this in the space provided below.

The installation described above is within the scope and intent of the original zoning approval. T‐Mobile will
