AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 24 OF BUTTE COUNTY CODE, ENTITLED
"ZONING," MAKING THE FOLLOWING AMENDMENTS TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING
MAP: A REZONE FROM HI (HEAVY INDUSTRIAL) TO GC (GENERAL COMMERCIAL)
FOR ASSESSOR PARCEL NUMBER: 021-170-052
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte ordains as
follows:
Section 1. Chapter 24 of the Butte County Code and the Official
Zoning Map is amended to rezone Assessor Parcel. Number: 021-170-052
from HI (Heavy Industrial) to GC (General Commercial) as shown
under "EXHIBIT A", incorporated herein by reference.
Section 2. Severability.
If any provision of this Ordinance or the application thereof to
any person or circumstances is for any reason held to be invalid by
a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be deemed
severable, and the invalidity thereof shall not affect the
remaining provisions or other applications of the Ordinance which
can be given effect without the invalid provision or application
thereof.
Section 3. Effective Date and Publication. The Clerk of the Board
will publish the Ordinance codified in this Chapter as required by
law. The Ordinance codified in this Chapter shall take effect thirty
(30) days after final passage.
