Supply Remains for Second Dose of COVID-19 Vaccine in Butte County
BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. – In some areas throughout the State counties have
experienced second dose supply issues with some counties cancelling second dose
appointments. Butte County Public Health (BCPH) would like to reassure the public
there remains an adequate supply of second doses for Butte County residents who
received their first dose at a community vaccination clinic in Butte County.
BCPH and provider partners schedule community vaccination clinics based on actual
vaccine supply, not on anticipation of projected allocation.
As long as vaccine allocations remain the same or increase, BCPH and vaccine
providers will continue to schedule second dose community vaccination clinics. Public
announcements will be made when additional second dose community vaccination
clinics are scheduled.
