Subject: Camp Fire Economic Impact Study
Good afternoon,
As you may have been aware, 3CORE has been working with a group of consultants to
develop an analysis of the economic impact the 2018 Camp Fire had on the Tri-County
Region (Butte, Glenn and Tehama). A copy of the Camp Fire Regional Economic Impact
Report may be found on their website: https://3coreedc.org/library/ . In addition, 3CORE
and their consultants provided a virtual presentation on the report today. The presentation
was recorded. I will provide you a link to the presentation when it becomes available in
case you are interested in viewing. In the meantime, if you have any questions pertaining
to the report, you can contact the 3CORE lead on the report, Chelsea Irvine, at the email
above or at 530-893-8732 x206. The team did an excellent job of detailing the pre and post
economic landscape, as well as outlining some suggestions for how best to move toward
recovery.
