HomeMy WebLinkAbout21-034RESOLUTION IN RECOGNITION OF TRINA WEHLE UPON HER RETIREMENT FROM THE BUTTE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE WHEREAS, after 30 years of dedicated public service, Trina Wehle will be retiring on April 17, 2021. During her career, her service to the citizens of Butte County and the Butte County Sheriff's Office has been exemplary; and WHEREAS, Trina began her career in 1991 when she was hired at the Butte County Sheriffs Office as a Public Safety Dispatcher. Trina was promoted to Supervisor, Dispatch Operations in 2005; and; WHEREAS, Trina performed multiple roles in addition to her dispatch duties during her career. Trina worked as the Communications Training Officer (CTO) from 1999 to 2007 and was a member of the Hostage Negotiation Team from WHEREAS, Trina has assisted with several special projects during her career. Trina acted as a project team member and coordinator for the implementation of the digital radio system in 2019. She also played an important role in the implementation and management of CAD software, which resulted in use of RIMS in, 2018; and WHEREAS, Trina has worked and assisted with the response to several critical incidents during her career. Trina managed the Sheriff's Office dispatch response to the Butte Complex Fires in 2008, the Croville Dam evacuation in 2017, the Wall Fire in 2017, the Camp Fire in 2018, and the North Complex Fire 2020; and WHEREAS, for the reasons stated above and for many more, Trina Wehle embodies the characteristics of a dedicated and exemplary public safety dispatcher and great citizen of Butte County; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby express their deep appreciation for the exemplary service and unselfish dedication of Trina Wehile during her career with Butte County. vote PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board!, of Supervisors this 23r' day of March, 2021, by the following AYES: Supervisors Lucero, Ritter, Kimmelshue, Teeter, and Chair Connelly NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None ATTEST: Andy Pickett, C and r t By: Deputy/ Administrative Officer ird of Supervisors Bill Connelly, Chair Butte County Board of Supervisors
