Re: 18 CFR 12.10(a) Incident Report Regarding Toadtown Canal Undermining
Dear Mr. Nimick:
This is in response to a letter dated February 12, 2021 from Mr. David Ritzman
that submitted information regarding the undermining discovered on December 9, 2020
beneath the Toadtown Canal, which is part of the DeSabla-Centerville Project, FERC No.
803.
The submittal for this incident satisfies the intent of the incident reporting
requirements under 18 CFR 12.10(a). However, please note that while we
have temporarily suspended the requirement to notarize verification forms for
such incidents due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, verification forms
signed by the licensee are still required. Therefore, please include signed
verification forms along with future 12.10(a) and 12.10(b) submittals.
