Board Members,
As you know, the North Valley Community Foundation funded a grant writer position for 3 years (we
pay 50% of years 2 and 3) to help us look for opportunities in the post Camp Fire recovery and
rebuilding efforts. We hired Sherisse Allen four months ago. She has prepared a report to show her
activities. She’s already helped us receive over $1m in grants and awards, with another $1.5m
pending. She’s also working on other large grants, including the $61m multifamily housing program
grant, and is actively searching in a number of areas, outlined in the report.
We are very pleased with her work.

which is coming to the Board April 13 to request PG&E funds to cover our share. The NVCF funded
this grant writer position with the Town of Paradise and the City of Chico at the same time.
