BUTTE COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION WORKSHOP FOR NORTH CHICO VILLAGE VISION PLAN TO BE HELD ON
APRIL 22
Chico, Ca— Butte County is undertaking a planning process for the North Chico Village area of the North Chico
Specific Plan. Based on meetings and activities with the community, the North Chico Village Vision Plan combines
community-based design ideas with the very latest planning concepts and strategies. The North Chico Village Vision
Plan articulates a land use concept that forms the basis for continued land use planning efforts for the development
of the North Chico Village area.
“This plan comes at a critical time,” said Supervisor Debra Lucero. “The collaborative, community-based process is
crucial to creating the best long-term outcome. I would encourage citizens to participate.”
The Butte County Planning Commission will hold a public workshop to review the North Chico Village Plan and provide
direction to staff on April 22, 2021 at 10:30am. Due to protocols established for COVID-19 community response, this
hearing will be held via an online format. Members of the public who wish to participate are encouraged to register in
advance of the hearing by emailing PCClerk@buttecounty.net.
This is a great opportunity to learn about the North Chico Village Vision Plan and provide comments to the Planning
