BUTTE COUNTY ANNOUNCES LIBRARY APPRECIATION MONTH
Butte County, Ca-- We are pleased to announce that Butte County is celebrating Library Appreciation Month
throughout the month of April. All Butte County Library branches are now open regular hours, Tuesday through
Saturday. Butte County residents are able to join the library online or in person.
Butte County Library has added new e-resources, such as the Dial-a-Story program and streaming services, which
patrons are able to access through their e-library card. Additional online resources will be available in the coming
weeks, including access to digital newspapers through the Newsbank service, music through Hoopla, and online
learning through Universal Class. Butte County residents can register for an e-library card online, visit
buttecounty.net/bclibrary for more information.
Please visit your local library branch to learn about new services available, such as the ability to check out WIFI
hotspots and Samsung Galaxy Tablets.
To comply with COVID-19 reopening guidelines, and for the safety of library staff and patrons, social distancing
measures will be in place. Library patrons are required to wear face coverings, in accordance with California
Department of Public Health face covering guidance.
