Hi Jen and Maria,
Data on the CA Relief Grant awards for rounds one AND two are now available. Round
th
5 selections are currently taking place and the final round (Round 6) opens on April 28
(FYI). Butte County awards through the first two rounds:
218 businesses/organizations were awarded grants from Butte County totaling
$2,687,498
209 for-profit businesses - $2,582,498 ( $694,998 of these funds went to
53 of our Butte Business Stabilization Small Business Grant awardees)
9 non-profit organizations - $105,000
Of the 218 awardees:
168 from Chico - $2,167,498
38 from Oroville - $400,000
3 from Magalia - $25,000
3 from Paradise - $15,000
2 from Durham - $50,000
2 from Gridley - $10,000
1 from Biggs - $5,000
1 from Cherokee - $15,000
The number of awardees for Round 2 was pretty consistent with Round 1, so that’s a
good sign for Butte County businesses who are still on the waiting list, or will be
thth
submitting an application during the 6 and final round (opens April 28 and closes on
th
May 4).
We’ll keep you posted as more data is released, but let me know if you have any
