Please exercise judgment before opening attachments, clicking on links, or replying.. Good morning, We have been a property owners in Butte Meadows since 2005. My husband and I have a home on Maddrill Ln. We are moving up there full time this year and are concerned and very frustrated that after 16 years of ownership there is still no cell service to such a vulnerable area. I was made aware of a plan to construct a cell tower on Carpenter's Ridge in 2017 but it never materialized. Why is there still no cell access up to Butte Meadows and Jonesville ? This question is especially relevant considering the tragic fire of November 2018 in Paradise, exposing the vulnerability of mountain communities. Although I realize that the number of year round population of these mountain areas is limited but in this day and age of such concern over fire vulnerability, it would seem to me that access to communication should be at the forefront of all of these "fire hardening laws". Does the County know of any plans to construct a cell tower in the area so that Butte Meadows and Jonesville property owners finally have access to cell service? Best Regards, Joan Linton
