Resolution No. 21-041
WHEREAS, previously, the Board of Supervisors adopted Chapter 54 "North Complex Fire Recovery" of the Butte
County Code which requires the removal of fire debris, including Hazard Trees from the North Complex Fire area; and
WHEREAS, Section 54-17(C) of Chapter 5,4 provides that the Board of Supervisors may set a deadline for
enrollment in the Private Tree Program; and
WHEREAS, to enroll, a property owner is required to submit either an approved (1) Arborist's/Forester's
Certification or (2) Inspection Access Form for the Private Tree Program; and
WHEREAS, the County's Private Tree Program became available to residents, on November 5, 2020; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby establishes April 30, 2021,
as the deadline for enrollment in the Private Tree Program.
