WHEREAS, CaIOSHA released the COVID —1.9 Safety Order outlining the responsibility of employers in helping to
ensure the safety of employees; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Butte County Board of Supervisors to protect employees and public from
complications surrounding COVID — 19; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Butte, County Board of Supervisors to maintain compliance with the CaIOSHA
CO,VID —19 Safety Order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby declare:
1. The Butte County COVID —19 Prevention Policy attached as Exhibit A is adopted; and
2. The Chief Administrative Officer is responsible for Butte County's Injury and Illness Prevention Program and the
responsibility to implement the CO,VID —19 Prevention Policy is hereby delegated to each department head and
the Butte County Safety Officer.
