HomeMy WebLinkAbout21-063WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte have determined that for the efficient operation of
Department of Public Health to establish a revolving fund for their Tobacco Education Team to conduct decoy operations;
WHEREAS, California Government Code Section 29430 et seq. provides for the establishment of such revolving
funds in amounts to be determined by the Board of Supervisors; and
WHEREAS, an analysis performed by the Butte County Auditor -Controller's Office for the request to establish a
Revolving Fund for Department of Public Health has identified a need along with supporting policy and procedures specific
for the requested Revolving Fund to limit risk while in operation; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, as
1. That there is determined to be a necessity estabilishment of Department of Public Health Revolving Fund of
$250.0,0 to be used by the Tobacco Education Team for conducting decoy operations.
2. That this Fund is established and discontinued in accordance with Section 2943,0 et seq. of the Government
Code, of the State of California, and that certified copies of this Resolution shall be transmitted to the County
Auditor -Controller and County Department of Public Health.
