HomeMy WebLinkAbout21-065WHEREAS, after 23 years of dedicated public service, Julie Russell retired on April 29, 2021. During her career, her
service to the citizens of Butte County and the Butte County Sheriff's Office has been exemplary; and
WHEREAS, Julie began her career in 1995 when hired by the Butte County Sheriff`s Office as a Sheriff's Clerk and
was assigned to the Electronic Surveillance Program (ESP) where she aided the Correctional staff and was responsible for
the coordination and tracking of all training for Jail staff; and
WHEREAS, Julie worked in the Jail's Clerk Office and Pretrial Unit where she was instrumental in training the
additional staffing that was added to the Pretrial unit in the preparation and completion of reports for the Court required
by the AB109 program; and
WHEREAS, Jiulie always has a pleasant and helpful attitude and: a smile on her face and her work product is
outstanding; and
WHEREAS, for the reasons stated above and for many more, Julie Russell embodies the characteristics of a
dedicated public servant and great citizen of Butte County; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby express their deep
appreciation for the exemplary service of Julie Russell during her career with, Butte County Sheriff's Office.
