There was a Zoning Administrator hearing on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 with three items
on the agenda:
1.)CEQA20-0001/Grading Permit PWDRD20-0003 a request to for gravel removal and
repairs to the existing weir and bank protection to prevent channel realignment during flood
events on Butte Creek east of Chico. The project was approved.
2.) Legal Lot Determination DET21-0002 a review of an 11-acre parcel on Darnell Lane
near Berry Creek for a certificate of compliance. The project was approved.
3.) Legal Lot Determination DET21-0001 a review of an 40-acre parcel east of Highway 32
east of Chico for a certificate of compliance. The project was approved.

protection to prevent channel realignment during flood events. The uses on the project site
will continue to be the same, on APN -143 the existing water diversion and associated
appurtenances will continue to be used and at APN -029 the vacant parcel will remain
vacant.
CEQA Determination:IS/MND.The Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration was
circulated for 30 days between April 12th, 2021 –May 11th, 2021 in accordance with State
CEQA Guidelines.
