SUBJECT: Notice of Administrative Permit Approval (STR21-0011) – Short-Term Rental 38 LA FORET DR, OROVILLE CA; APN: 069-060-046 Dear Joseph Bressler:
On 6/28/2021, the Butte County Zoning Administrator approved Administrative Permit
(STR21-0011) for a Short-Term Rental at 38 LA FORET DR, OROVILLE, CA; Assessor
Parcel Number: 069-060-046. Approval of the administrative permit allows the dwelling unit to be rented on a short-term basis (i.e. for periods less than 30 continuous days). The terms of the permit are in effect for one year from the date of approval, after which, the permit will expire. Prior to the expiration, our office will mail a notice of the permit’s pending
expiration, together with information on renewing the permit.
The Certificate of Approval and permit conditions are required to be posted inside the rental property in a prominent interior location within six feet of the front door. The Certificate and permit conditions may be obtained through the following link:

Additional required documents, including the community’s emergency evacuation plan and
maps, right to farm disclosure, and instructions on reporting transient occupancy taxes may be obtained on the County’s Short-Term Rental webpage:

Please be aware that administrative permits for short-term rental do not transfer to a new
owner upon a change of property ownership. If the rental property is transferred or sold to another party, please notify the Planning Division of Butte County Development Services and the Central Collections Division of the Treasurer-Tax Collector’s Department of the pending sale:

Additionally, if there is a change in the contact information for the designated property
manager, a new administrative permit application must be filed.
Any decision made by the Zoning Administrator, including the conditions of approval set forth in the permit, may be appealed to the Butte County Planning Commission, in accordance with Section 24-266 of the Butte County Code. If you are not in agreement with the decision, or the conditions of approval, you must file an appeal in writing together with the appeal fee
of $723.89.00 to the Department of Development Services no later than 4:00 p.m. on the first
business day following 10 calendar days after the approval date. Information about filing an appeal may be obtained at:
