Subject: BOF Fire Safe Regulations
Hi-
Just a quick update on the status of the BOF Fire Safe Regulations. The BOF held a public hearing
today to close out their rule-making public review period. There were a handful of people who spoke
at the hearing (myself included). It was a mixture of County staff from the various counties across
the state and some private citizens. The BOF did not take any action today on the regulations but
indicated that they would be reviewing all the letters that they received and considering the public
comments from today.
I will continue to monitor this issue and will let you know when a new draft of the regulations
becomes available or if they move forward with the existing draft.
