Hello Butte County Supervisors,
Any chance Butte County might follow in the footsteps of Glen County and put a
hold on new well drilling? Seems a very smart thing to do right now as we assess
the implications of groundwater sustainability, water rights, groundwater pumping,
dry wells, and the severe drought we are in.Please consider this measure. How
much closer to depletion do we need to get before we see action?
I would also like to see imposed water conservation measures/restrictions on all
businesses and residences of Butte County. What are we waiting for??
Respectfully,
Pam Stoesser
