Subject:Delta Variant identified in Butte County
Date:Monday, June 28, 2021 2:49:38 PM
We have received our first report of a positive Delta variant in a Butte County resident. The
individual is “younger” (late 20’s), symptomatic but not hospitalized. The person actually got tested
twice because they did not believe they had COVID. This is an indication that the delta variant is
circulating in Butte County but this is the first confirmed case.
Respectfully,
