Supervisors,
I am writing to make you aware of a Minor Use Permit application, MUP 20-002; currently being considered by
the Dept. of Development Services. The project, a proposed event venue at 400 Marmore Rd, is located at the end of
Morehead Rd. on a private culdesac. Approval of this project will result in significant impacts to the neighbors and
public/private infrastructures which are not adequately mitigated in the applicants Operational Plan.
The applicants do not live in the area and are not familiar with traffic patterns in the area or ongoing farming
operations. This lack of insight is reflected throughout the permit application. Unmitigated impacts include liability
concerns on the private road, traffic flow and safety around critical water works and farming
infrastructure,inadequate parking, dust and noise control.
As there is significant opposition to the project by immediate neighbors and those on Morehead Rd., I invite each
of you to come see the location at your convenience. I will be glad to point out my concerns.
