Please see attached notice announcing the release of Draft Butte Subbasin Groundwater
Sustainability Chapters for review and comment. Draft Chapters include:
Sustainable Management Criteria,
Monitoring Network,
Groundwater Dependent Ecosystem section, and
Projects and Management Actions.
The draft chapters and additional information, including instructions to submit public comments can
be found online at: https://www.buttebasingroundwater.org/gsp-info.
The comment period ends on July 31, 2021. An additional opportunity for comments will take place
after the complete draft Groundwater Sustainability Plan is released later this year.

Comments Sought on the Draft Sustainable Management Criteria Chapter, Monitoring
Networks Chapter, Groundwater Dependent Ecosystems Section, and Projects and
Management Actions Chapter
Drafts Available: https://www.buttebasingroundwater.org/gsp-info
Public review drafts of several important Chapters of the Butte Subbasin Groundwater Sustainability Planare
available for review and public comment period. The public comment period ends on July 31, 2021.
Available Chapters includethe:
Sustainable Management Criteria,
Monitoring Network,
Groundwater Dependent Ecosystem section, and
Projects and Management Actions.

To better organize public comments, we are requesting that commenters use a comment tracking sheet (Excel
file available with the draft documents).However comments in any format will be accepted.See directions
for submitting comments below.
Public comments will be compiled for review and discussion by the Butte Advisory Board.
We look forward to your thoughts on these Chapters. This is a significant step in developing the Groundwater
Sustainability Plan in the Butte Subbasin.
Directions for submitting public comments:

2.Download the PDF chapter files
3.Download the comment tracking sheet (Excel table) and rename it with your name or entity
abbreviation
4.Compile your comments in the Excel table or any written format. Please reference your comment to
the report section with line numbers to facilitate tracking of comments.
5.Please submit comments by July 31, 2021.
