The county has woefully neglected the homeless issue, and has completely failed to uphold
their part to control it in Chico. And to you board of supervisors I ask, is the below video a
humane way for anyone to live!? It absolutely is not! And you should all be disgusted with
yourselves!You should be disgusted for multiple reasons, if you represent chico, because
you’re an absolute failure, and if you’re on the board of supervisors you represent all of
BUTTE COUNTY so that means telling the two Chico supervisors to pull their heads out and
fix the mess they allowed to happen!
By allowing this to continue, directly next to a water way, is allowing human feces and other
man-made waste to contaminate our water! That water feeds irrigation downstream, hey grid
key is downstream, I wonder what your constituents would think Supervisor Kimmelshue if
they knew you didn’t step in to help stop this! Did you know this very camp had a hepatitis
and botulism outbreak! That’s right! Our crops are being sprayed with literal toxic water!
Good job Butte County Supervisors, round of applause!
Step up, all of you and get these people the actual resources they need! Mental health, detox
and rehab, and some sort of place for them to all go in one place, away from waterways and
parks!Set up a tent community with these resources, STEP UP AND DO SOMETHING!
