Please exercise judgment before opening .. attachments, clicking on links, or replying. County Leaders, The Dixie Fire is approximately 1200 acres burning in the Feather River canyon. The Fire is spreading to the North/Northeast toward the High Lakes. That is good news. It is getting close to the Butte County line but still remains in Plumas County. We do not expect it to impact any communities in Butte County but as always they should be prepared. I have attached a rough perimeter map for your reference. I will provide more information should the situation change for the worse. Please don’t share this map with the public. An official public facing map is being released ASAP.
