Dear Board Members,
It came to my attention that the Subrecipient agreement with the Sewage Commission-Oroville
Region included in the Board packet for tomorrow’s meeting is missing the even numbered pages.
Please find attached the complete agreement. The posted agreement will be updated as well.
Also, I received a question regarding the project schedule and the short time frame for work to be
completed, stated as January 1, 2022. The Schedule in this contract is consistent with the project
schedule included in our Prop 1 IRWM Implementation Grant Agreement with the Department of
Water Resources (DWR) that is funding this project. We and DWR understand that project schedules
may change and need to be adjusted. Our DWR grant manager has told me that the intermediate
project schedule dates are flexible as long as they do not extend past the termination date of the
grant agreement. This will not be a problem since the termination date is June 30, 2024. We may
need to amend our agreement with SC-OR in the future to extend the project schedule, but we
would work with SC-OR to do that and any amendment would come before the Board of Supervisors
for a change to the schedule, with no impact on project budget.
