Dear Jeffrey Davis,
On August 3, 2021, the Department of Development Services made the finding that the Certificate
of Merger on the above referenced property is exempt from environmental review, and approved the
project.
Please allow ten days from the approval date, which falls on (Friday, August 13, 2021) before you
are able to record the merger. At that time, you will be able to pick up the Certificate of Merger (to be
recorded) at the Front Desk of the Department of Development Services at 7 County Center Drive,
Oroville, 95965.
You will record the following:
• Certificate of Merger – with Wet Signature (to be picked up at our office)
• Owner’s Certificate (original furnished by you) – copy included here.
• Legal Descriptions - Exhibit “A” (original furnished by you) – copy included here.
• Note: You will not record a Plat in the Merger Packet.
A Clerk Recording Fee made out to “Butte County” is due when you record your certificate of merger
at the Clerk Recorder’s Office located at 155 Nelson Avenue, Oroville. Should you chose to appeal
the decision of the Dept. of Development Services to the Planning Commission, please submit your
appeal, in writing, together with the appeal fee of $694.00, to the Department of Development
Services, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, California 95965, prior to 4:00 p.m. on August 12, 2021.
