Good evening,
We reconvened the EOC in person this afternoon to get ready for Butte Meadows evacuations. The
shelter is open at the Church of the Nazarene, and the small and large animal shelters (Del Oro for
small, Camelot for large) are all open and staffed. So far we have not had any people or animals
check in to the shelters. The EOC will go virtual overnight. In the morning we’ll determine the need
for in person vs. virtual.
We are being told that Sunday could be a very active fire day, with unpredictable weather and
possibility of lightning. We’ll know tomorrow how certain that forecast is.
I’ll update you if anything develops.
