Good morning Board Members,
We just finished our morning briefing. There isn’t much new to report on the EOC front. We did not
have anyone go to our shelters last night, nor drop off animals at either the large or small animal
shelters.
The EOC is operating virtually for the time being. If conditions change we are ready to pivot and
meet in person.
I’m sure you all have been watching the CAL FIRE briefings, so I’ll just summarize that the fire is not
responding well enough to the dozer lines, so they are changing tactics and will be doing a firing
operation to get ahead of it. This will be a large, week long operation, starting at highway 32 above
Butte Meadows and burning back into the fire.
Unless anything changes, this will be my only report of the day.
