Good morning Board – quick update from the EOC this morning.
We continue to operate virtual at this point. The plan today is to close our human and animal
shelters, as there is only one resident from Plumas County in the human shelter (and this individual
has other options available); and the few animals in the animal shelter (5 chickens) will go to other
location today.
The weather didn’t develop yesterday as concerned, which was a good thing. The fire currently sits
at approximately 188K acres, 22% contained…with about 11K acres in Butte County.
We will continue to operate the EOC virtual, and be ready to elevate should the need arise.
