Good Afternoon,
There are currently 2 vacancies on the Butte County Code Enforcement Advisory Board. There is a
member seat available on both Districts 1 and 3. These vacancy notices have been posted pursuant
to the Maddy Act, as well as internal Butte County procedures. The Board can begin making
appointments to the Butte County Code Enforcement Advisory Board at its first meeting in August.
Please feel free to post these notices in your office, should you wish to do so.

Code Enforcement Advisory Board for the District 1 Member seat. The Board of
Supervisors may consider making an appointment to fill this vacancy on or after
.
The Board of Supervisors established the Code Enforcement Advisory Board to provide advice
to the Board of Supervisors on code enforcement matters, and assist in the development of
priorities in code enforcement activities, identification of programs for voluntary property clean-
up, and funding opportunities for code enforcement and community clean-up programs.
The Board reviews and monitors code enforcement activities in other communities, grants and
other funding opportunities that may support such efforts, and provides advice and guidance to
the Board of Supervisors. The Board provides a forum for the discussion of code enforcement
issues, including code enforcement concerns of the general population of Butte County, and
identifies code enforcement problems and potential solutions.
Persons interested in being considered for this appointment shall submit an Application for
Appointment and may also submit a letter of interest and/or resume to the Clerk of the Board
